There is a need for non-perishable food items for the Blessing Box. Canned meats are especially needed, as are canned fruits and vegetables. Anyone can bring food by to the box!

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group is looking for new faces to join their group in reading the Bible through. This group meets in the Church Library in the Education Wing on Wednesdays at 1 P.M. The card ministry will be addressing and signing cards for those within our church on the last Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the church library. Come help spread some cheer to those around our community!

A NEW men’s Bible study will be starting on March 9th at 5 PM. It will be taught by Doug Henderson. Come and get sharpened!

Come join us for our monthly dinner get together on March 15th at 4 PM in the Family Life Center. This meal is potluck, so bring your favorite dish to share. Bring a friend with you too!

There will be a churchwide cleanup day on March 29th at 8 a.m. Bring gloves, weed eaters, clippers, and anything else you might think we need to clean up God’s house!

We will be hosting a Good Friday service in conjunction with Porter’s Creek Baptist Church on April 18th at 6 PM. More details to come but make plans to join us!

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt here at First Baptist on April 19th at 2 pm. Helpers are needed before, during and after this event. If you’re interested in helping, please see Pastor Matt or Tasha.

There are many opportunities for worshipping the Risen Savior on Easter morning this year. At 7 AM, there will be a sunrise service on the steps of the sanctuary. At 8 AM, we will have Easter breakfast in the Family Life Center. And bring your friends and family to worship with us a special 9 AM worship time!

On May 10th at 11 am, there will be a Ladies’ Tea. Ladies, come out and enjoy some time connecting with one another. More details to come soon!

Vacation Bible School is happening for 2025! Beginning on June 30th and going until July 3rd, come and see what God is doing with the children of our community. More details will be coming soon.

We’ll have a special family event on July 4th at 11 AM to celebrate the end of VBS, but also to celebrate Independence Day! Water events, a cookout, and other things will be happening that day. Make plans to join us!
